Role Overview:
As a Teacher of Science, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, tailored to a range of abilities. You’ll foster a love for scientific inquiry and help students develop the skills they need to succeed academically and beyond.
Key Responsibilities of Science Teacher:
* Deliver high-quality Science lessons that inspire and challenge students.
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
* Encourage scientific thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and resources.
* Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and respect.
Requirements for Science Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent qualifications.
* Experience teaching Science at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* A passion for Science and a commitment to student achievement.
* Ability to provide a ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent educational role.
