Senior Import FCL Operator

The Role
An opportunity to join a growing deep sea import team, working within a busy FCL department. This is a senior position suited to someone with strong, well-rounded freight forwarding experience who is confident managing shipments start to finish and handling key client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Start to finish management of FCL import shipments
• Arranging multi-modal imports (sea, air & road where required)
• Liaising with overseas offices, agents and partners
• Quoting UK clients for FCL shipments
• Managing and quoting for FBA (Amazon) clients
• Handling key accounts and maintaining strong client relationships
• Processing sales and purchase invoices
• Raising invoices and ensuring billing accuracy
• Updating shared systems with bookings and pricing
• Resolving customer queries and escalations efficiently
What They’re Looking For
• Circa 10+ years freight forwarding experience
• Strong import FCL knowledge (essential)
• Confident handling shipments start to finish
• Experience dealing with key accounts and direct clients
• Commercial awareness with quoting experience
• Organised, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
