Bridge Learning Campus are looking for people who are friendly and patient, can provide positive play experience, are able to support children aged 3-11 with dining and social skills and are able to work effectively as part of a team. The role will include supporting children’s play activities on the playground as well as working with a team to offer a quality dining experience for our children. Lunchtime is a really important part of the day, so we want to appoint somebody who is keen to make a difference to a child’s experience at school.

Job Purpose:
To supervise, guide and assist children during the midday break, so as to ensure the safety, general welfare and proper conduct of pupils during their lunchtime period.
General Duties:
1. To assist in the lunchtime supervision of pupils to ensure that the meal is completed on time in a safe and hygienic setting
2. Report behaviour observations to a teacher in order for them to maintain the school’s standard of discipline and behaviour
3. Work to school policies to maintain a safe environment for pupils and other staff
4. To follow TiLA policies and procedures, especially those relating to child protection and health and safety;
5. Be aware of and support difference and ensure all students have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop;
Fluency Duty
This role has been identified as falling within the definition of requiring fluency in spoken English. You will be required to converse in spoken English with ease and provide accurate advice around complex situations without hesitation or difficulty for extended periods of time.
