The ideal candidate will be conscientious, innovative and have a desire to become an expert in this field. Requirements of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. - Ideally have a Mechanical Engineering Degree - Proficient user of SolidWorks - Experience of Interfacing with customers - Experience with full design lifecycle including design reviews and the stage gate process or similar - Confident in the design, development and testing of electro-mechanical products - Solid understanding and experience regarding commonly used manufacturing processes including plastic injection-moulding and CNC milling.
