It's all geared around giving founders the best possible run up when starting their new enterprise and making a real success of their business.
The job and you:
The Content Writer will have a consistent and proven track record in creating medium and long-form content that is engaging and informative, focussing on business, tax and finance matters.
Audiences will be a mix of professionals and non-specialists, so content should be adaptable to both B2B and B2C audiences.
Working across multiple sister brands and as part of an in-house content writing team, content will be used in blogs, newsletters, email outreach, PR and more.
SEO principles should be strongly considered in all content written, while the SEO team will fine tune and optimise.
Having a background in writing for finance, tax or professional services in e-commerce/SaaS, is preferential.
Key responsibilites:
* Produce meticulously researched, top-tier articles for blogs, newsletters and outreach. Content will cover finance, tax, and related topics, targeting small business owners to ensure they remain informed and to secure high rankings for pertinent informational keywords on Google.
* Collaborate with the content team, led by the Content Manager, to develop influential and current content for the business audience.
* Input on content concepts such as ideas for articles, campaigns and topics
* Maintain SEO within writing, referring to the SEO team to optimise content
* Maintain and develop specialist industry knowledge
* Work to deadlines for article and content publishing
About You:
* 5 years consistent and proven track record in writing high quality long form content in and around the finance or tax sector
* A relevant Bachelors degree in writing, journalism, finance or literature
* Amazing written English language skills
* The ability to adapt writing styles to engage with different audiences
* A good understanding of SEO principles
