Overview
About the Role: On behalf of our valued client, we are currently recruiting for a qualified and GPhC-registered Pharmacist to join a well-established pharmacy in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and patient-focused professional to join a dynamic team that prides itself on delivering excellent healthcare services to the local community. Key Responsibilities
* Accurately dispense NHS and private prescriptions in line with current regulations.
* Deliver a range of clinical services, including New Medicine Service (NMS), flu vaccinations, and health checks.
* Provide professional advice and guidance on medicines and minor ailments to patients and customers.
* Work closely with GPs and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
* Support and supervise pharmacy support staff, including technicians and dispensers.
* Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with GPhC standards and company procedures.
* Assist in managing stock levels, ordering, and general pharmacy administration.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* A recognised MPharm degree (or equivalent).
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* A patient-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
* Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to continuous professional development.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience in a community pharmacy setting.
* Independent prescribing qualification or interest in pursuing one.
* Experience with pharmacy PMR systems (e.g. ProScript, Pharmacy Manager, or Titan).
