New Opportunity - FTC Project Administrator We are looking for an experienced and proactive project management professional to join our client's team. Our client in Heanor is looking for a Project Administrator to join them on a fixed-term contract lasting 12-months. They are an established manufacturer, who are looking for a project coordinator to support the successful execution of projects by managing document control, monitoring resource allocation, overseeing compliance, and acting as a central liaison between departments and external stakeholders. The right candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, in an engineering or manufacturing environment. As the new Project Administrator, you will: Provide comprehensive project coordination support during deconstruction and installation phases, including arranging deliveries, meetings, minute taking, and liaising with contractors. Support the Project Manager to ensure project compliance, on-time delivery, and effective performance against agreed plans and KPIs. Coordinate with Permit Controllers and H&S Advisors to review and manage subcontractor RAMS, acting as a central point of contact for the client. Monitor project progress, prepare 4-week look-ahead schedules, and track key project deliverables. Pre-authorise contractor timesheets and support subcontractor performance management in line with business requirements. Ensure compliance with temporary and permanent construction, installation, quality, governance, and safety procedures. Manage the project Document Control System, ensuring accurate, timely submission of documentation to clients. Compile, maintain, and submit project Data Books in line with internal and customer requirements. Coordinate documentation for project reporting, including process safety, H&S, environmental compliance, audits, and contractor hours. Attend quality assurance meetings and support internal and external audits by preparing and coordinating required documentation. Support stakeholder management, including clients, third parties, subcontractors, and internal teams. Organise site inductions for new starters, visitors, and subcontractors, ensuring competency and site access compliance. Communicate effectively across all levels, managing multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Promote company values and maintain a professional, collaborative, and compliant working environment. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable UK and EC legislation, undertaking additional duties as assigned by the line manager. Requirements for this role: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Knowledge of site/installations environments. Understanding CDM and application of 'site' HS&E requirements. Proficient communication and administrative skills with an ability to get on with people at all levels. Must have a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in English and Maths It would be desirable to have a similar type of environment and knowledge of databooks preparation process. About this role: Salary for this role is £26,500 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Hours for this role are 8:30am - 5pm with some flexibility Hybrid working - You will be in the office Monday to Thursday and WFH on Friday Pension scheme Predicted start date for this role is March 2026.
