We’re seeking a proactive, experienced, and highly organised Recruitment Consultant to become a vital part of our dynamic recruitment team.
In this fast-paced position, you’ll be at the forefront of attracting and engaging high calibre candidates, delivering a seamless and professional recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders across the business.
Job Title: Recruitment Consultant
Location: Chatham Dockyard, Kent, ME4 4TZ
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly
* Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks
* Conduct thorough screening of CVs and applications to determine candidate eligibility and alignment with role requirements
* Coordinate interviews and manage scheduling between hiring team and candidates
* Take ownership of the onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions for successful hires
* Verify that all compliance documentation is complete before offers are made
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of relevant candidates for active and upcoming roles
* Act as the main point of contact for candidate queries throughout the recruitment process
* Manage full-cycle recruitment campaigns from job posting to offer stage
Qualifications and Skills:
* 2+ years proven experience with a strong track record in filling a variety of roles - Security industry experience desirable
* Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers
* Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional organisation and time management
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
