This is an exciting opportunity for someone with considerable experience in technical support, site management, and design, who is looking to contribute to large civil infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing technical support and guidance to engineering teams
* Overseeing site management activities and ensuring adherence to project specifications
* Collaborating with designers to develop and review engineering plans
* Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Technical Lead to ensure project milestones are met
* Managing and mentoring a team, including consultants and assistant engineering managers
* Conducting site visits and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
* Reviewing and approving technical documents and drawings
* Facilitating communication between various stakeholders to ensure project success
Job Requirements:
* Proven experience in technical support, site management, and design
* Background in large infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on civil infrastructure
* Ability to provide clear and effective technical guidance
* Exceptional organisational and leadership skills
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and industry standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to be onsite 5 days a week, with potential flexibility for remote work on Fridays
