Overview
Grosvenor House Children's Home are recruiting for a Deputy Manager. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Deputy Manager to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support and care for our young people and be responsible for a small staff team.
Grosvenor House is a registered children's home for up to 4 young people. We believe our home is a special place where we can enhance the daily living experiences and activities for our children and young people. These experiences are meaningful and memorable and are designed to meet the needs of individual children in areas that are personal to them.
As part of Aspris Children’s Services, we offer a career pathway with training and progression opportunities. All candidates must have a Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
* Support and care for our young people
* Be responsible for a small staff team
* Update care plans and report information relevant to the care of our young people
* Demonstrate resilience, effective communication, organisation, and caring approach in a residential childcare setting
Qualifications and requirements
* A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential; willing to study towards the Level 5 Diploma
* Experience of team leadership
* Full UK driving licence
