Join Our Front of House Team – Dedicated Cover Role (Corporate Environment)

Location: City of London
Role Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week Front of House Dedicated Cover
Reports to: Events & Booking Services Manager

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences in a corporate setting? Mitie is seeking a polished and proactive individual to join our Front of House team as a Dedicated Cover, supporting five key areas: Reception, Client Suite, Floor Management, Hospitality Service Desk and Events Coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception

1. Provide a 5-star welcome to all guests and clients.
2. Manage check-ins, notify hosts, and handle luggage with professionalism.
3. Maintain accurate guest records using ProxyClick.
4. Be the face of the building—polished, well-groomed, and knowledgeable.

Client Suite

5. Ensure meeting rooms and client areas are immaculate and ready for use.
6. Liaise with internal teams to support VIP client visits.
7. Offer concierge-style service, including local area knowledge (transport, restaurants, entertainment).

Floor Manager Support

8. Conduct visual maintenance checks across communal areas.
9. Report and follow up on issues via the FM Helpdesk
10. Promote “One Team” culture across all supplier interactions.

Hospitality Service Desk

11. Respond to service requests and queries with efficiency and care via EMS & Outlook.
12. Communicate clearly via phone and email to support internal teams.
13. Champion best practices and support continuous improvement.

Events Coodination

14. Coordinate logistics for internal and external corporate events, including meetings, conferences, and team-building activities, ensuring seamless delivery from concept to completion.
15. Liaise with vendors, venues, and internal departments to manage timelines, budgets, and expectations, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the planning process.
16. Provide hands-on support during events, managing setup, registration, and real-time problem-solving to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees.

What We're Looking For

17. Experience in VIP customer service within corporate or hospitality environments.
18. Strong communication skills and a confident, professional demeanor.
19. Tech-savvy with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
20. A proactive, adaptable team player with a “can-do” attitude.
