We are looking for Ad-hoc minibus passenger assistants / Escorts for work based in Loughborough / Mountsorrel Escorts are primarily responsible for transporting vulnerable adults and children with special educational needs including physical and /or learning difficulties to their School, Day Centres and other activities. Escorts will ensure their passengers' personal wellbeing and safe/secure travel at all times, by the job description, relevant Policies, legislation, Procedures and good practice. Duties Will include clamping in wheelchairs, fastening seat belts and interaction with service users. (*example of split shift = 7.30am - 10am/2.00pm - 5.00pm) ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: •Either hold an enhanced DBS on the update system or be prepared to apply for one. •Be prepared to attend a training course prior to starting work Own transport is essential due to travelling to locations.
