Overview
Engineering Geologist – Aberdeen – Permanent – £32,000 to £35,000 per annum
The successful Engineering Geologist will be involved in managing ground investigations, supervising fieldwork, reviewing laboratory data, and producing interpretative reports to industry standards. The opportunity is with a leading geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering firm based in Aberdeen, working on a diverse portfolio of development, infrastructure and regeneration schemes.
The role operates from the Aberdeen office, contributing to site investigation design, ground model development, and geotechnical interpretation while collaborating closely with engineers and environmental specialists. This position suits candidates with proven consultancy experience who are confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
* Operate from the Aberdeen office, contributing to site investigation design, ground model development, and geotechnical interpretation.
* Manage ground investigations and supervise fieldwork.
* Review laboratory data and produce interpretative reports to industry standards.
* Collaborate with engineers and environmental specialists on diverse projects.
Qualifications
* Geology degree, or another relevant degree.
* Ground investigation and report writing experience.
* Commutable distance from the Aberdeen site.
* Full Right to Work in the UK permanently.
