Overview
Permanent electrician role with a competitive salary of £38,270.09 per year, a weekly out‑of‑hours rate of £864, and full provision of company van, tools, fuel card, uniform, tablet, and phone. The position is 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs, and installations across domestic and commercial properties.
* Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls, pumps, communal lighting, hot water systems, and HVAC units.
* Completing rewiring, testing, and inspections to ensure systems are safe and compliant.
* Diagnosing issues quickly and delivering high‑quality, efficient repairs.
* Managing materials, recording work accurately, and working safely in line with regulations.
* Providing excellent customer service and ensuring homes are safe and fit for purpose.
Qualifications
* Experience with 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent.
* City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
* AM2 qualification preferred but not essential.
* Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
* Proficiency with IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

* Full, clean driving licence.
* Proactive, flexible attitude to work and travel.
* Enhanced DBS check (arranged by BFL).
