The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh seeks applications for a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practice, and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. UK-trained applicants should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the interview date. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
This is a full-time, permanent post based at The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, involving general and high-risk obstetrics, with opportunities for subspecialty interests including gynaecology sessions. Responsibilities include managing a community-based antenatal caseload, high-risk obstetric clinics, core inpatient and outpatient obstetric care, and management of the tier 2 and 3 resident doctor rota.
