SEN Learning Support Assistant - Moderate Learning Needs - Aspiring Clinical Psychologist - Woking


The School

This school is known to be one of the best SEN schools in Surrey. They provide a safe learning environment for children with complex learning, social, and communication difficulties, which may include physical disabilities. The school also offers therapies such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, music, speech, and language therapies, especially when these are part of a young person's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The team works closely with therapists to ensure the physical and emotional support of the children. Facilities include a therapy pool, sensory rooms, and I-Gaze technology. The school provides excellent on-site training and support, aiding progression to roles such as senior support assistants, teachers, and therapy assistants.


The Children

Children have various special needs including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Physical Disabilities. Some children may be non-verbal or require personal care assistance.

* Daily rate: £89 to £105 (9 am - 3:30 pm, 5-day week)
* Temporary to permanent contracts
