Job Purpose: To ensure accurate and timely processing of all documentation and goods relating to the smooth running of the stores facility. The stores facility is responsible for the safe keeping of parts for the fleet department to maintain company vehicles. Reports To: Buyer Hours: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday Morning cover required 0800-1200 Salary: National Minimum Wage Specific Qualifications/ Job Training Educated to NVQ / GCSE standard Experience in a similar position is desirable but not essential Warehousing & Stores Level 2 or 3 Qualified is desirable but not essential Specific Skills Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel) Spreadsheets Experience with Sage 200, desirable but not essential An effective communicator with good telephone manner Good written and verbal communication skills, able to interact at all levels both internal and external Good Negotiation skills Team player with a flexible Can-Do attitude. Must have a valid UK Driving Licence Company/Industry Knowledge Inputting orders / delivers on Sage 200 Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers and colleagues Collects information to verify that the goods on the invoices were received into the warehouse Carry out stock check and stock counting Carry out all necessary administration as required by the company to facilitate the smooth running of the Warehouse operation. Working in a warehouse / transport or logistics environment Parts / Mechanical Experience is desirable General Administrator Duties which may include but not is limited to : Answering phones and routing calls Answering and responding to emails Maintaining files and filing, photocopying, Maintaining spreadsheets
