Job Description:
We are a bold, award-winning business that prides itself on empowering our teams with the autonomy to operate premium, fun businesses that ‘wow’ our customers within an industry-leading environment. We run friendly, welcoming, and positive pubs, restaurants, and hotels with high standards, taking a different approach to others and always striving to be the best we can be.
We are looking for a front of house team member to join our family. This role involves delivering excellent bar and waiting hospitality to our customers.
The Castle Inn is a traditional Dorset pub near Lulworth Cove, with a history dating back to the 16th century. It has been immaculately restored and features a charming bar, relaxed restaurant, 12 boutique bedrooms, a large courtyard, and a terraced garden with great views. Kids and dogs are very welcome.
Our laid-back atmosphere, all-day food offering, and friendly service make it a perfect place to relax, unwind, and explore Dorset’s stunning Jurassic coastline and the Isle of Purbeck.
What’s in it for you?
* The chance to work for an award-winning business, recognized as the Best Food Offer (2019 & 2020) and Best Managed Pub Company (2021) at The National Publican Awards.
* Access to Liberation Life, a platform offering cashback with major retailers, discounts on holidays, groceries, gifts, and more.
* The opportunity to work in a diverse, eclectic company and gain experience across various businesses and food offers, with a collaborative approach to business development.
* A competitive hourly rate plus an equal share of tips.
* Industry-leading training and development through our ‘Pillars of Progression’ programme.
* Additional support and coaching from talented managers.
* The chance to work with locally sourced food and drink, including our own award-winning beer.
* Supportive tools and significant investment in our properties to help you do a great job.
* The excitement of team parties, events, training courses, and industry rewards, discounts, and benefits, including 50% off food on shift.
* A caring business, involved in mental health initiatives like the Burnt Chef Project, and offering a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program for support.
