The Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire is a resort hotel in the countryside, just 10 minutes from the town of Fleet and Farnham and 45 minutes from London. With a varied selection of restaurants focusing on use of local produce, banqueting for 200 and with 24-hour room service, our guests have a lovely collection to choose from.
About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Junior Sommelier to join our dynamic restaurant team at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. In this exciting role, you will support the sommelier team in delivering an exceptional wine experience for our guests, while deepening your own wine knowledge and developing your career in one of the world’s leading luxury hospitality brands.
What You Will Do
* Assist in the day-to-day operation of the wine service across all dining outlets.
* Support the Head Sommelier and Sommelier team with wine pairings and guest recommendations
* Maintain and restock the wine cellar and fridges
* Participate in wine training and tastings, constantly expanding your product knowledge
* Uphold Four Seasons service standards and contribute to a refined, engaging guest experience
* Build rapport with guests, confidently guiding them through the wine list and enhancing their dining journey
What You Bring
* A passion for wine and a desire to grow your sommelier career
* Some experience in a food and beverage or hospitality role (restaurant, bar, or wine retail)
* WSET Level 2 (or currently studying) is highly desirable
* Friendly, professional, and confident in guest interactions
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Eager to learn, with a proactive and flexible approach
