Responsibilities
* Order all food items as per requirement from the dry store.
* Ensure that all purchased food items are received and checked against the invoice, then stored correctly.
* Make sure that all stock is labelled and rotated.
* Use resources effectively, minimizing waste to protect the environment and reduce costs.
* Act on behalf of the senior chef when appointed.

Qualifications & Experience
* AAA Level 2 or equivalent.
* An understanding of menu costing and menu planning.
* A full understanding of HACCP.
* Five to seven years minimum in a 4/5 star hotel and/or large reputable restaurant with at least one AA Rosette.
* Experience leading a team of eight or more kitchen staff.
* Food hygiene Level 2.
