A respected and growing multi-office law firm is seeking an established senior litigator to join its Commercial Litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pragmatic litigator to take on a leadership role within a dynamic and supportive environment, working on complex, high-value disputes across a broad client base.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will manage a diverse commercial litigation caseload. You’ll play a key role in shaping litigation strategy, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on complex litigation cases from inception through to resolution, including trial and appeal stages.
* Provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of commercial disputes, including shareholder and partnership conflicts, and insolvency-related matters.
* Represent clients in court, arbitration, mediation, and negotiations.
* Draft high-quality legal documents including pleadings, motions, and legal opinions.
* Supervise and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
* Work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver integrated legal solutions.
* Contribute to business development initiatives and help expand the firm’s litigation offering.
Candidate Profile:
* Strong background in complex dispute resolution, including shareholder disputes, partnership breakdowns, and insolvency litigation.
* Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
* Proven ability to manage high-pressure caseloads and deliver results.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
* Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
