Job Description
* Develop and oversee policy strategies aligned with organisational goals.
* Lead research projects, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis.
* Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
* Engage with industry leaders, policymakers, and other stakeholders to advocate for initiatives.
* Monitor regulatory changes within the financial services sector and assess their impact on organisational objectives.
* Manage a team of researchers and policy analysts to achieve project milestones.
* Collaborate with external partners to enhance the scope and impact of research outputs.
* Maintain an up-to-date understanding of trends and developments within the financial services industry.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Policy & Research should have:
* A strong academic background in economics, public policy, or a related field.
* Proven experience in policy development and conducting research projects.
* Excellent analytical skills (R/SPSS/STATA/Python) with the ability to interpret complex data.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
* Familiarity with the financial services industry and its regulatory framework.
* Leadership experience, including managing teams and external collaborations.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and strategic thinking.
