Project Architect | Residential | £45,000 | Hybrid Working
What’s in it for me?
If you are a Project Architect with strong residential experience and you want to take real ownership of projects, this role offers the chance to step into a position with genuine responsibility. You will be joining a respected AJ100 architecture practice with a strong reputation for thoughtful, design led work and a collaborative studio culture. The role offers a salary around £45,000 alongside hybrid working with two days from home each week. You will work closely with senior leadership while still being trusted to run with projects yourself, making it a great opportunity if you are looking to strengthen your leadership experience and progress your career. The studio also supports professional development through mentoring, paid memberships and ongoing learning opportunities, all within a friendly and supportive environment.
What will I be doing?
You will play a key role in leading a residential estate regeneration project of approximately 100 homes and helping develop the planning application. Working closely with senior team members, you will manage the day to day progress of the project while coordinating consultants and supporting junior team members. The role involves a balance of design input and project leadership, contributing to design development, preparing reports and presentations, and ensuring information is coordinated across the wider team. You will also have the opportunity to engage with clients and stakeholders where community engagement forms part of the design process.
Where will I be doing it?
You will be joining a well-established London based AJ100 Studio with a strong focus on residential and regeneration work. The studio is located in East London, placing you in the heart of one of London’s most creative design districts. The practice is structured as an employee ownership trust which encourages a collaborative and inclusive culture where everyone has a stake in the success of the studio. Their work focuses on creating thoughtful, sustainable places and they are known for delivering projects that respond carefully to the communities and environments they sit within.
