Overview
An established and highly regarded Top 100 law firm in Bristol is seeking a Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join its busy Residential Property team. The role is ideal for someone with 1218 months of hands-on conveyancing experience who is ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
* Prepare and draft documentation such as contract packs, completion statements, and standard letters
* Carry out searches, ID checks, and AML compliance
* Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
* Manage onboarding of new instructions and maintain accurate file records
* Support with post-completion tasks including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
* Ensure all matters progress smoothly and efficiently, updating clients and colleagues regularly
* Provide general administrative support to the wider property team
