In conjunction with the Head of Contact Centre – Switchboard, you will provide management responsibility for the Switchboard service by supporting the strategic direction of the service to meet the Trust's overall objectives.
Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Contact Centre – Switchboard with recruiting and developing staff to meet the needs of the service and future departmental requirements.
* Manage all budget requirements, including procurement and health roster sign‑off across all sites.
* Oversee day-to-day operational management of the Switchboard service.
* Ensure the Switchboard Directory is maintained and supported across departments.
* Support recruitment and selection of staff across the Switchboard service.
* Manage personal workload to meet corporate and personal deadlines, prioritising important and urgent tasks.
* Identify and implement changes required to improve service delivery with support from the Service Manager.
