As Area Sales Manager, you will be part of a small but strong team focused on offering the best solutions within mail and parcels handling equipment in the UK market.
You will be responsible for developing mail and parcels sales in the UK, fostering new and existing customer relationships. Your work will focus on boosting sales initiatives to ensure sustained growth for Körber.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
* Lead the entire sales process from initial contact to project handover.
* Coordinate sales activities with the support team.
* Assist in preparing and realizing the sales budget.
* Maintain and develop the sales pipeline, including customer visits and follow-ups.
* Expand the customer base and develop sustainable business potential.
* Analyze market trends and requirements.
* Participate in promotional events like fairs and exhibitions.
Perform other duties as assigned. Success depends on your ability to build good relations internally and externally, ensuring strong cooperation and internal processes.
About You
* Extensive sales experience with a proven record in project sales; experience in automated logistics systems is preferred.
* Technical background (preferably bachelor level) to understand customer requirements and solutions.
* Structured, focused, and independent work style, with excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
* Ability to develop new customer relations and contribute to team success.
* Willingness to undertake intensive travel within the UK.
* Work from home with occasional presence at the Milton Keynes office.
