Are you a friendly and reliable individual with a passion for customer service and a hands-on approach to work? We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our dedicated catering team at UHI Perth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a welcoming, multi-site campus community, where your contribution helps create a positive dining experience for students, staff, and visitors.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Serving customers in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Assisting with basic food preparation in line with hygiene and safety standards.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Handling cash and card payments accurately and responsibly.
- Supporting the wider catering team in daily operations across various outlets on campus.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous catering or food service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good numeracy skills for handling payments and till operation.
- A strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
- A flexible approach and willingness to work across different campus outlets as required.
