Proactive Personnel are currently looking for Vehicle Mechanics to start work for our client based in Leyland, Lancashire.
Duties include-
1. Performing inspections and repairs of heavy-duty vehicles
2. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
3. Performing technical inspections
4. Adjusting and replacing mechanical and electronic components
5. Determining causes of breakdowns and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
6. Operation and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment
Requirements:
7. Proficient in using hand/power tools, diagnostic equipment, and interpreting technical manuals.
8. Proven work experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
9. Understanding of computer testing technologies.
10. Ability to lift heavy parts, work in confined spaces, and spend long periods standing.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 05:45- 16:15. Overtime Available.
