School Premises Assistant – Bexley, Kent
We’re supporting a friendly school in Bexley who are looking for a reliable and hands-on Premises Assistant to join their site team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a school safe, clean and well maintained. You’ll be part of a supportive team making sure the school provides the best possible environment for its pupils and staff.
Role: School Premises Assistant
Location: Bexley, Kent
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional flexibility for evening events)
Pay: £16–£16 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the day-to-day maintenance, security and cleanliness of the school site
*
Carrying out basic repairs, decorating and upkeep as required
*
Setting up rooms for assemblies, events and exams
*
Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the site
*
Locking/unlocking the premises and monitoring visitors as needed
Requirements:
*
Previous experience in a school, facilities or caretaking role preferred
*
Good practical maintenance and DIY skills
*
Awareness of health and safety procedures
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
