Post Title: Fabricator & MIG Welder - Backshift We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder to work on & Backshift in the fabrication department Job details 3.00pm 1.15am Monday to Thursday Rate £16.14/HR Overtime £18.15/HR Key responsibilities and accountabilities Analyses engineering drawings and specifications to determine appropriate welding equipment, settings and methodology to manufacture products from a range of materials. Apply knowledge of welding techniques and processes to configure equipment to weld components in flat or vertical positions without warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion. Ensure the quality of the weld meets the required specifications and tolerances by pre inspection of all relevant grooves, angles, or gap allowances. Use initiative and work without direct supervision however report immediately to line supervisor any equipment, material, project, environmental or health and safety issues that may arise. To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company. KPI s Meeting and satisfying Company quality requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations. Meeting and satisfying Company HSE requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations. Health and Safety responsibilities Co-operate with Company in compliance with HSE legislation. About you Skilled/Semi-skilled/part qualified welders with a solid career in welding. Skills in welding both light and heavy gauge material Reliable with good time keeping and attendance.
