Westgate House Care Centre is a bedded care home caring for elderly residents with a variety of nursing needs, including nursing care, dementia care, respite care, intermediate care and palliative care.

About the role:
10. Provide a warm and professional welcome to residents, families and visitors
11. Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately
12. Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the care home’s services
13. Schedule and coordinate appointments, tours and meetings
14. Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
15. Assist with administrative tasks such as mail sorting and data entry
16. Liaise with staff across all departments to ensure smooth daily operations of the home
17. Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or unusual situations
About you:
18. Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally in a care home setting
19. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
20. A polished and professional demeanour
21. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
22. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
23. A proactive and problem-solving approach
24. Empathy and understanding when engaging with elderly residents and their families
