We are looking for compassionate, patient, and resilient individuals who are passionate about empowering people to lead fulfilling lives. The role involves supporting four women in a female-only service, helping them develop independence, emotional resilience, and life skills. The service supports individuals who may be living independently for the first time and may experience challenges such as self-harm, anxiety, or behavioral concerns.
The support we provide aims to enable individuals to enjoy a normal, fulfilling life, engaging in activities like days out, college, work, and social outings. The role requires adaptability, flexibility, maturity, and a creative approach to support, including positive risk-taking and out-of-the-box thinking.
Currently, all individuals receive several hours of 1:1 support daily, along with shared support during day and night shifts. We are particularly interested in candidates passionate about working with people experiencing enduring mental health issues and interested in psychology and positive behavior support.
