About the Provision
Family Learning courses support adults to develop core skills across a range of areas, including:
* English and maths
* STEM
* Health and wellbeing
* Healthy eating
* Sustainability
Courses are delivered in schools and community settings, creating accessible opportunities for parents and carers to engage in learning close to home, in familiar environments. Some delivery may also take place online. A key feature is that, for part of each session, children join their parent or carer to take part in shared activities to build confidence and reinforce learning.
The programmes are inclusive, practical and engaging, supporting learners to build confidence, develop new skills and apply learning in everyday family life.
