Logistics Facilities Manager – Capital Projects & Maintenance | Muller Milk & Ingredients Distribution Logistics Network

Location: UK
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: Monday – Friday (40hours per week) must be flexible and able to travel to sites across the country.

We’re looking for a Logistics Facilities Manager to lead capital investment projects across our MMID logistics estate (circa £10m budget), ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Lead and deliver capital projects on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards.
2. Develop and implement planned inspection schedules and maintenance strategies.
3. Drive continuous improvement in site maintenance and compliance.
4. Manage contractors and service providers through tendering and due diligence.
5. Collaborate with Operations and H&S teams to identify and deliver efficiency improvements.
6. Champion sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives across the estate.

What We’re Looking For:

7. Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
8. Qualifications: HNC or equivalent in electrical/mechanical/building services.
9. Skills: Strong project management, CDM knowledge, contractor management, ROI analysis.
10. Desirable: NEBOSH/OSH membership, BIFM affiliation.
11. Soft Skills: Influential communicator, detail-oriented, self-motivated, team leader.
