Description
As a School Business Manager, duties will include but are not limited to:
* Manage the organisation's financial processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
* Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
* Identify areas for cost-saving and implement effective strategies.
* Ensure the organisation's financial health and sustainability through effective planning and monitoring.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operational support.
* Lead and mentor a team to achieve departmental objectives.
* Ensure that all financial policies and procedures are adhered to.
* Estates and facilities management including ensuring safe, compliant, and well-maintained learning environments across multiple sites
* Maintaining robust systems and ensuring statutory obligations are met in line with health and safety standards
* Ensuring effective tendering and contract oversight
Profile
A successful School Business Manager should have:
* Proven experience in financial management including budget management and strategic financial planning
* Have a good understanding of HR processes and compliance
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
* Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
