Live in Nanny Job, Notting Hill, April start
A new client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live in Nanny for their children. The role will be focused on a two-year-old little girl. Her older sister, aged 13, is very self-sufficient. The family is also expecting a third child, due in April (around the beginning of employment). A maternity nurse will be employed for the first three months.
The role will be a mixture of sole charge and shared care in a busy but laid-back household. Family often visits and the parents lead busy professional and social lives, so the ideal Nanny will be outgoing, friendly, and energetic but will also be able to remain calm and constant within that environment.
The Nanny will be required to travel with the family, occasionally last-minute. Flexibility is essential, as is the ability to enter the USA (although the right to work is not required). There is a housekeeper and a PA employed, so a team player who will muck-in and match their mindset of “everyone helps each other” will fit in very well.
An up to date first aid certificate and police check are essential for this position.
Duties:
1. All nursery duties
2. Managing daily routines
3. Cooking for the children
4. Engaging the toddler (and then baby) in age-appropriate activities
5. General guidance for the eldest child
6. Keeping the children’s belongings tidy and organized
7. Doing the children’s laundry
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 GPA
Days: Monday to Friday (Saturday bonus but not essential)
Hours: 7am to 7pm
Driving: bonus but not essential
Travel: extensive
Language: English essential, Spanish bonus but not essential
Pets: two dogs
Accommodation: own bedroom and bathroom
