Description
The Children’s Intake and Group Specialist performs child and adolescent bio-psychosocial assessments and eligibility determinations for intake into all MFS services. They assist in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and implementing intake practices for therapeutic, rehabilitative, support, and community integration services across all MFS satellite offices. Additionally, they are responsible for planning and running treatment groups to meet client needs.
Requirements
* Master's Degree in a mental health or related field (psychology, counseling, social work, nursing, or related field) from an accredited college or university. Preference given to degrees that are certifiable or license-eligible in New Hampshire.
* Licensed or license-eligible in the State of New Hampshire (LICSW, LMFT, LCMHC).
* At least one year of internship experience in a degree-related field under supervision of a psychiatrist, doctoral-level psychologist, or a certified/licensed mental health professional, or someone with equivalent credentials.
