Head of Product Delivery

As Head of Product Delivery, your role will combine strategic thinking, with hands-on knowledge, focusing on identifying and implementing efficiencies that benefit, both the organisation and it's clients. You will work closely with the Managing Director and senior management to drive operational excellence and business growth.
You will lead the entire Product and Fulfilment department, with direct reports including product development, product managers, fulfilment managers, warehouse staff, and administrative support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Holding full P&L responsibility for the department, including financial forecasting, budget development, and driving strategic cost optimisation.
Directing the full product lifecycle, encompassing market conception, strategy development, establishing roadmaps, and setting pricing.
Leading all end-to-end order fulfilment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and continuous quality control for both stock and made-to-order models.
Overseeing the entire supply chain, which involves building key supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing performance monitoring.
Building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing team through clear expectation-setting, process design, and capability development.
Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify and implement operational efficiencies and processes across the business.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum five years of progressive experience in product management and/or fulfilment operations.
At least five years of leadership experience managing teams.
Demonstrated success in P&L responsibility and financial management.
Proficiency in inventory management software and experience with supply chain management systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities with strong execution skills.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all organisational levels.
The hours of work for this role are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, onsite based in their head offices in Marlborough.
