What Youll Do
Teach and assess learners across a range of Sport & Public Services programmes, supporting learners from Level 1 through to Level 3 qualifications
Deliver engaging, practical, and industry-relevant lessons that develop fitness, teamwork, leadership, communication, and employability skills
Support learners to achieve qualifications and progress into employment, apprenticeships, higher education, or careers in sport, emergency services, or public sector organisations
Use practical and creative teaching approaches, including fitness activities, enrichment, outdoor learning, and scenario-based training to bring learning to life
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, health & safety, and learner wellbeing
Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement and personal development
Contribute to curriculum development and help create an inspiring and inclusive learning environment
What Youll Bring
A relevant qualification in Sport, Public Services, Uniformed Services, Sport Coaching, Fitness, Outdoor Education, or a related subject (Level 3 or above)
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire learners through practical and engaging teaching
Industry experience within Sport, Fitness, Public Services, Armed Forces, Emergency Services, Coaching, or a related sector, or experience supporting learners in education or training
A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner success
A Level 4 teaching qualification or above is welcomed but if you dont have one yet, well support you to achieve it while you work
