What You’ll Do
Summary/Objective:
The Endpoint Engineering I role is primarily responsible for the planning, ordering, tracking, and deploying of all end-user hardware (workstations and peripherals) as well as the analyzing, planning, and testing of software in a physical and virtual production environment. Additionally, the role is responsible for providing 3 rd tier support for all ticket escalations and incidents.
Essential Functions:

* Manage the end-user workstation and peripheral purchase process within the IT procurement and inventory management function.
* Define the end-user/asset management hardware lifecycle, including developing and implementing a PC refresh program.
* Administers company hardware deployment, refresh, donations, or disposition based on established guidelines.
* Update, validate, and maintain enterprise asset repository.
* Conducts regular audits to ensure accuracy of asset data and reporting.
* Creates or revises existing asset management, technology refresh, and procurement related documentation.
* Tracks and recovers equipment from exiting users.
* Tracks and ships hardware to remote users as requested.
* Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks quality throughout the product lifetime.
* A specialist on complex technical and business matters as relates to IT Asset Management/Purchasing.
* Configure equipment for employee use, performing proper installation of OS and software applications via SCCM.
* Assist in the documentation and scoping of complex business impacting projects involving inter-department collaboration.
* Initiate and contributes to the development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologies.
* Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical issues while actively pursuing mechanisms for preventing or automating the response to reoccurrences.
* Identify and learn the software needs of the business areas.
* Analyze and review application requests to have software added to our corporate library.
* Collaborate with the larger team of Engineer’s to improve existing deployment and management tools.
* Coordinate training and communication materials for new or enhanced services/technologies.
* Research, plan, and test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
* Continuously develop technical subject matter expertise on established and emerging desktop technologies such as SCCM, Desktop Virtualization, Active Directory, Azure AD, O365 administration, Print Servers/Webjet Admin, DHCP, Active Directory Sites and Services, Intune, Jamf, etc.
* Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) (Apple and Android).
* Provide 3 rd tier support for complex technical issues and incidents
* Adherence to policies, procedures and documentation standards.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Manager(s).
What You’ll Need
Education and Experience Requirements:
* Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
* 1-3 years of IT experience
* 1+ years of desktop engineering experience
* ITIL, M365 Certified: Fundamentals or equivalent certification preferred
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Expected Pay Range
$30.00 - $33.70 / hour
