Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of technicians and contractors
Drive maintenance performance, safety, and compliance standards
Manage day-to-day maintenance activities, shutdowns, and planning
Work across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
Use CMMS systems to plan, prioritise, and track work
Support plant improvements and reliability initiatives
Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety requirements
Support reporting, scheduling, and resource planning
Requirements
Background in instrumentation or electrical (NVQ / Apprenticeship level)
Experience in a supervisory or lead technician role
Strong knowledge of plant maintenance (mechanical, electrical, C&I)
Experience working in energy, process, or industrial environments
Understanding of ATEX / DSEAR / hazardous areas
Experience with shutdowns, maintenance planning, and CMMS systems
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
