Admin Officer – Feltham
Join Virtual Bridges as an Admin Officer working for HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS), an agency of the Ministry of Justice. This is a full‑time temporary role (four months with a view to extension) based in Brook Street, Feltham, West London.
Responsibilities
* Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings.
* Producing court/tribunal documents.
* General photocopying and filing.
* Creating and updating records on in‑house computer system and data input.
* Post opening and dispatch.
* Standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, submissions etc., according to guidelines and instructions.
* Clerking family courts, tribunals and hearings, ensuring papers and materials are available and up to date.
* Working as a team to problem‑solve, assessing the impact of new SOPs, contributing to small projects.
* Handling standard documentation and information: court orders, claims, fines and fees, legal aid.
* Ensuring accuracy in court records and interpreting required information correctly.
Skills and Experience
* Good Excel skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Positive attitude.
* Effective communication via telephone, email and remote workforce.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
Remuneration and Working Hours
Salary: £15.59 per hour with benefits of a pension scheme and holiday.
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00‑17:00.
Background Checks
A DBS check will be needed before you can start. After DBS approval and security checks (approx. 2‑3 weeks), your start date will be confirmed.
