You will be responsible for teaching and developing a range of Professional Cookery courses from level 2-3 to a range of 16/19 year olds as well as adult students. This exciting role will include: Delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment Provision of assignment and assessment material appropriate to each specific programme. Evaluating, assessing and providing feedback to students in a timely manner in adherence to the awarding body and college quality criteria. Production of schemes of work and lesson plans in accordance with current best practice. Setting and assessing work and providing opportunities for engaging student feedback. Preparing and cooking high quality food for the department's Coast Restaurant. If you can demonstrate the following, then we'd love to hear from you: Minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English Teaching qualification (highly desirable) at Level 5 e.g. Certificate in Education or will be committed to gaining a teaching qualification within the timescales laid out by the college Minimum Level 3 Professional Cookery qualifications Some experience of teaching or training peers An understanding of current developments in related field Basic IT skills such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook A love and passion for food Ability to work well as part of a team Closing date: 22nd June 2025.
