An established international bank in London’s West End is seeking a Financial Reporting (FINREP) Manager to join its finance function. This is a hands-on role with oversight responsibilities, offering strong exposure across financial and regulatory reporting.
🔍 The Role
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial and management reporting, while supervising an Assistant Finance Manager and supporting broader finance initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements (UK GAAP / IFRS)
* Delivering insightful variance analysis and financial commentary
* Managing corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and quarterly tax payments
* Supporting annual audits and preparing disclosure notes
* Strengthening internal controls and ensuring data integrity
* Overseeing day-to-day finance operations, including reconciliations and payments
* Assisting with FINREP regulatory reporting
* Driving process improvements and reporting efficiencies
* Providing cover for senior finance leadership when required
âś… About You
* Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
* 3+ years’ experience in financial services
* Strong technical knowledge (FRS 102, IFRS 9)
* Experience with tax (corporation tax & VAT)
* Exposure to regulatory reporting (FINREP)
* Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
* Proven ability to manage and develop team members
* Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable
