SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support a specialist SEN school in the heart of Nottingham. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
The Role
* ✔ Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, ASD and complex needs
* ✔ Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
* ✔ Supporting the class teacher with daily routines and tailored interventions
* ✔ Creating a safe, supportive and structured learning environment
Essential Requirements
* ✔ Previous SEN experience (school, specialist provision or relevant care setting)
* ✔ Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare, Health & Social Care or equivalent)
* ✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
* ✔ A calm, resilient and nurturing approach
