Opportunity for Registered Mental Health Nurses
This is an excellent opportunity for Registered Mental Health Nurses aspiring to work in a dynamic inpatient service. The service provides care and treatment for a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
We offer a comprehensive induction package and supportive educational development, including Flying Start for newly registered staff. We are committed to mentorship, staff supervision, and personal development.
As a clinician, you will join a multidisciplinary team with strong links to both inpatient and community services. Your responsibilities will include assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating care programmes.
Shift Pattern
The inpatient service operates 24/7, and successful candidates will be expected to rotate onto night shifts.

Working Hours and Contract
NHS Scotland is reducing the full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This change will be applied pro-rata for part-time staff. Your employment contract will reflect these new hours. Please note, during a transitional period, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week, paid accordingly, until rosters are updated.
