This is a great role for an experienced, end to end Payroller! The business that you will be joining is VERY successful..... growing at a great rate with no signs of slowing down! It’s essentially a stand-alone payroll post with added finance duties, overseeing the whole process for approx 150 UK payees (with a few overseas workers...... don’t worry; they will support and train your through that process). There are a few weekly paid employees….. the rest are salaried all through SAGE. Duties will include;
1. End to end Payroll processing (weekly and monthly) Managing SSP/SMP/SPP & annual leave
2. Payroll administration to include new starters and leavers
3. Ensuring that you are an absolute authority on Payroll Legislation!
4. RTI administration and submissions
5. Reconcile payroll journals and providing Payroll related MI
6. Management of auto-enrolment and pensions process
7. Assisting with the management accounting process at year and month end
8. Contributing to reconciliation process
9. Stepping in to provide financial and transactional cover such as Purchase/Sales Ledger support
Although there will be the opportunity once fully established to work from home on occasion, this role is best described as office based; you will need to be willing and able tomute on a daily basis to suit the needs of the business, but the remote capability can be regarded as something of a benefit.
