Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roof Truss Designer to join a well-established timber engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced designer with strong MiTek experience who is looking for a remote position working on residential housing developments across the UK.
Role
As a Roof Truss Designer, you will be responsible for designing roof truss systems from architectural drawings and client specifications using MiEt software.
* Designing roof truss systems using MiTek
* Interpreting architectural and structural drawings
* Producing technical drawings and manufacturing data
* Liaising with clients and internal teams regarding design specifications
* Supporting production teams with technical queries
* Ensuring designs comply with industry regulations and NHBC standards
Experience Required
* Minimum 8 years' experience designing roof trusses
* Strong experience using MiTek software
* Experience within timber engineering or roof truss design
* Ability to interpret architectural drawings
* Strong communication and organisational skills
