What to expect as a Teaching Assistant?
Day-to-day tasks
As a Teaching Assistant, you could:
* Help teachers prepare lesson materials
* Set up and tidy classrooms for lessons
* Work with students on a 1:1 or small group basis, supporting their learning
* Watch, record and report the progress students make
* Look after students who are upset or unwell
* Lead classes with help from the teacher
Would you be the right fit?
* Previous experience in a UK school is advantageous
* Friendly, confident and calm attitude
* Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
* Adaptable to working with students with vulnerable backgrounds
* An individual with good knowledge of Safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education
* Be passionate about helping students to succeed academically, emotionally, and socially
* Have a calming presence and be able to engage well with secondary pupils (Years 7-11)
* You will be dedicated to ensure that all students achieve their very best
* Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
