Overview
Learning Support Assistant, Part Time, Term Time (SEND) – Various weekly hours available dependent on learner timetables. Working day is 09:00-16:30. Term Time, 36 weeks and 37 weeks per year. Salary: £10,139 - £16,899 per annum (£24,049 pro rata). Location: Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus.

We’re looking for a caring, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant for High Needs Learners. Whether you have experience supporting learners with SEND or are looking to develop your skills in this area, we welcome your application.

* Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with learners, staff, and support networks.
* Work well independently and as part of a team.
* Be flexible and responsive to changing learner needs and college events.
* Maintain a discreet and professional approach, respecting the dignity and privacy of learners.
Qualifications
* Experience supporting individuals with SEND is a bonus but not a requirement. We are committed to providing training and support to help you succeed in the role.
* Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
